Meeting on Monday, March 10, 2025, for caddies number 201-450 and 40 “new caddies”. The golf course manager, assistant golf course manager, marshals, and head caddies welcomed the new caddies and provided information on the following issues:
- The old caddies welcomed the new caddies by saying “hello” to one another, following the good tradition of RSU Vista Golf Course, creating love, unity, and good manners.
- At present, RSU Vista Golf Course has 450 caddies, responsible for “carrying bags” for golfers and helping the golf course. Every Monday, they will gather to help sweep the fairways and golf cart paths. In addition, there will be regular shifts as assigned by the caddie leader.
- Listen and follow up on information from the caddie group line.
- The caddie meeting every Monday is important. Each person will attend the meeting only 2 times a month.
- Caddies who want to “carry a bag more than 1 round per day” (double) must inform the caddie leader and wait to receive calls during night golf.
- The caddie receives the bag, writes the number for the golfer and ties the other part to the bag every time. Check the clubs in the bag before playing the round. And when finished, clean the clubs and club heads and check the number according to the bag received, including the club covers.
- When playing the round, have a sandbag and scoop sand into the bag every time to cover divot marks. There should be a bag to collect trash during the round and cover the ball marks on the green every time.
- Caddies should see what brand of golf ball their golfers are using. When the ball goes in the direction of another person, shout “Fore” every time as a warning. And if the golf ball goes to another golfer, should immediately apologize.
- Caddies should drive the golf cart carefully along the route specified by the course. Must not cut in front of other golfers.
- Do not drink alcohol or play phone loudly, disturbing others while playing the round. If see this or someone reports it, the caddie will be punished.
- On Monday mornings, caddies will be assigned shifts to help sweep and clean the golf course, both on the golf cart path and the Fairways. Please come on time so that the course will be clean, tidy, and beautiful.
- The course has provided additional baskets for leaves and leaf scoops. When finish sweeping, pour them into the baskets so that the wind will not blow them away. Then, an employee will come and collect them for disposal.
- The course has provided additional sand rakes for every hole. The caddies rake the sand and cover them up neatly when a golfer hits a ball into a sand pit.
